Malibu Pistachio Truffles

Beat this cold away with rum chocolates, a must have to beat winter frost. Enjoy sweet nothings this Christmas.

Malibu Pistachio Truffles

Ingredients

For Truffles

Plain chocolate 250 gms
Fresh cream ½ cup
Malibu rum 1 tbsp

For Topping

Powdered Pistachio (pista) 100 gms
Desiccated coconut 100 gms

Method

Boil the cream over double boiler, stirring continuously. Remove from heat. Add pieces of plain chocolate and stir till it melts completely. Let it cool down to room temperature. Add Malibu rum and mix well. Divide the chocolate mix into 30 equal portions coat it with pistachio and desiccated coconut, cover it with film and refrigerate to set till it firms.
