Brown Stew

Ingredients
Mutton or Pork ½ kg
French beans ¼ kg, chopped
Carrots ¼ kg, chopped
Cabbage 1 small, chopped
Cauliflower 1 small, chopped
Potatoes 2-3, cut
Mint (pudina) 1 small bunch, cut
Green chillies 6-8, slit
Cinnamon (dalchini) 4-5 sticks
Cloves (lavang) 4-5
Tomatoes ¼ kg
Onions ¼ kg, chopped into thin slices
All purpose flour (maida) 1 cup
Vinegar 1 tsp
Oil for cooking
Salt to taste

Method
Wash the meat and boil it with mint (pudina) leaves, green chillies, spices and salt for 15 minutes. When the meat is tender remove from water, put all the cut vegetables in the same water and boil for 5 minutes. Fry the sliced onion till they turn golden brown and add the tomatoes. In bowl mix flour with water, add some quantity of vegetable broth. Add this to the fried onions and tomatoes. Let the gravy boil for 5-10 minutes, till the consistency becomes thick. Now add the meat and the vegetables and pout vinegar. Let it simmer for a while, serve hot with bread rolls.
