Creamy Prawns / Malai Prawns

Prawns are the versatile sea food; it could be sautéed, baked, grilled, fried or steamed. It can make the drabbest dinner a real gourmet treat. Here is a dish, made from jumbo tiger prawns with fresh coconut milk and its cream rendering creamy flavor.
Creamy Prawns / Malai Prawns
Category- Non-Vegetarian
Ingredients
For the Marinade
Large tiger prawns ½ kg, tail de-veined
Marinade prawns either in chettinad masala/ tom yum paste or kasundi masala and leave it for 30-40 minutes
The gravy
Ginger paste 1 ½ tbsp
Garlic paste 1 ½ tbsp
3-4 tender coconut water with cream
Coconut milk 500 ml
Green chillies 4-5
Fish sauce 3 tbsp
Mushrooms 250 gms
Virgin olive oil 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Wet dough
Method
Heat virgin olive oil in a pan sauté ginger, garlic paste, and green chillies. Gently add the prawns and stir continuously. Once the prawns begins to curl, add the coconut milk and bring it to boil. To this add salt as desired and fish sauce and turn off the flame.
Transfer this prawn gravy into microwave safe bowl, add tender coconut water with cream from the top and microwave at medium heat for 30-40 minutes. Once done remove and serve hot.
