Mushroom Soup

Bored of eating the regular tomato or mix vegetable soup! Try the exotic thick mushroom soup, tastes good and even better with bread sticks or bun.

Mushroom Soup

Ingredients

Button mushrooms 100 gms
Onion small 1
Potato small 1
Milk 1 cup
Corn flour 1 tsp
White pepper powder ΒΌ tsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
2 cups of water

Method

Peel and chop the onions. Boil the potatoes, peel the skin and mash it. Blend it along with the onions in a mixer and sieve it. Grind half of the mushrooms and finely chop the remaining mushrooms. Heat butter in a wok, add corn flour and cook for a minute over sim flame, now add milk and cook till the mix thickens. Add the sieved potato and onion mix along with 2 cups of water. Add the mushroom paste and the chopped mushrooms. Add salt as desired and white pepper powder and bring the potion to boil. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Thick mushroom soup could be served with garlic bread sticks, bun and butter.
